About This Listing

Our small park is a favourite with travelers and campers enjoying the cooler mountain air in lovely natural surroundings one km from the crater lake.

Located in the heart of the famous Crater Lakes District and close to World Heritage Rainforest Walking Trails, this quiet Tourist Park is just one kilometre from the pristine waters of Lake Eacham. Enjoy the cool mountain air, 800 metres above Cairns. Our family cabins are all air-conditioned, self-catering and located on a quiet country road. There's an adventure around every corner on the Tablelands and we'll make sure you discover them all. We are pet-friendly and offer free Wi-Fi to guests

Seven drive-through powered sites with concrete slabs for caravans and larger campervans and another row for smaller campervans on grassy sites. Campsites also available under the bamboo, or down near the duck-pond and camp-fire.

There’s no swimming pool or playground for the kids, no sculptured gardens or kerb and channeling. Just lots of great space, trees, wild birds, ducks and chicks.

The “rustic” camp kitchen boasts a gas barbecue, gas jets for pots, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge/freezer, pots and pans and a raised open fire place with wood provided (usually). Clean Amenities and small laundry.

We are pet friendly and happy to doggy-sit when you visit the Crater Lake.
